The local component of a union is your direct link to support and representation in the workplace. It handles grievances and disputes to ensure members' rights are protected. Local components also provide essential services like workshops and training to enhance members' skills. Engaging in community outreach and political activism, they advocate for workers' rights and support broader union initiatives. By fostering solidarity and member engagement, local components empower you to have a voice in your workplace and beyond. Our local represents workers in Cornwall, SD&G, and Hawkesbury.
