Fall General Meeting: November 5th, 2026. 551 Campbell. Dinner at 4:30 pm. Meeting at 6 pm.

We're electing a President, a Treasurer, and a Head Shop Steward, each for a two year term. If someone already on the executive wins one of those, their old spot opens up too, like Vice-President or Secretary, and we'll elect that position at the same meeting.

Nominations can be done “On the floor” of the meeting, or ahead of time.

1. For each position, the Elections Officer asks for nominations three times.
2. Any member can nominate someone. Each nomination needs a second from another member.
3. Once nominations close, each nominee is asked if they accept.
4. Members vote by secret ballot.

Our Elections Officer is Peter Desrosiers. He isn't running for anything and won't nominate anyone.

You can still be nominated. Email ceiulocal621@gmail.com by noon Nov 5th and include:

• The position you want to run for
• That you accept the nomination
• The name of the member nominating you
• The name of the member seconding you

Both your nominator and seconder must be Local 621 members. If someone at the meeting will speak on your behalf, tell us who in your email.

Only members in good standing of CEIU Local 621 can vote or run for a position.
